Jeffrey Louis and Logan Edra punched their tickets to Paris this weekend at the culmination of the Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest. The pair will join Sunny Choi and Victor Montalvo to form the breaking quartet that will represent the U.S. for the sport’s Olympic debut in Paris. Team USA’s Breaking roster is now solidified, with the max quota spots available being utilized.

Jeffro and Logistx achieved their qualifications after two days of competition in Hungary that saw some of the best breakers in the world meet for the last chance to earn a trip to Paris. After an impressive run, Jeffro advanced to the quarterfinals where he narrowly lost the battle to Kazakhstan’s B-boy Amir. Despite a penalty point setback, he still overcame and earned enough points to cement his place in this summer's Olympic Games. Similarly, Logistx had a dominant performance throughout the competition before falling in the quarterfinal round to France’s B-girl Syssy. Both Jeffro and Logistx ended in fifth place for the competition and fifth place for overall OQS standings in their respective categories.

Three other U.S. breakers also had solid performances throughout the weekend. Notably, B-boy Gravity (Miguel Rosario) finished in eighth place for the weekend and overall. Despite his top-10 finish, a maximum of four American breakers are eligible to qualify for Paris 2024 and, unfortunately, there are no quota spots remaining for the U.S. B-girl La Vix (Vicki Chang) redeemed herself in Hungary, finishing 13th and improving her overall standing to 21st. A last-minute opening meant El Nino (Alexander Diaz) joined the U.S. squad for the second half of the series and made the most of his OQS appearance, finishing 25th.

In total, 32 breakers, 16 females and 16 males, will make history this summer and B-girl Sunny, B-girl Logistx, B-boy Victor and B-boy Jeffro will represent the stars and stripes among them. Breaking competition takes place August 9-10 in Paris. Fans can view results and highlights from the Olympic Qualifier Series here and find more Olympic breaking information here.
